Bingo Bingo I’m in Love
Have you heard “Bingo” by Dave Carey? We think its a great song! Here’s a few of the lyrics:
“Kelly’s eye, I’m the guy and she’s my number one
Number three, up a tree, she’s got me on the run
Number five, man alive, by all the stars above
Bingo! Bingo! I’m in love
Number two, Little Boy Blue, is what I used to be
Number four, on the floor, so full of misery
Till she was sweet, my key of the door and now we’re hand-in-glove
Bingo! Bingo! I’m in love”

Satellite Bingo
While nothing quite compares to a bingo hall, online bingo has some benefits of its own. One neat thing about it is that people from all over the world are able to play with each other and share their love for the game! It can also offer more winnings, as online bingo halls don’t always have the same size limitations as traditional bingo halls.
Recently, however, I learned of a phenomenon called satellite bingo that allows numerous bingo halls to connect with each other and participate in the same game of bingo! It seems as though satellite bingo is bringing some of the benefits of online bingo to traditional bingo halls.
How it works, is one location is responsible for pulling then numbers, while all participating bingo halls play along. Often, the bingo halls watch the televised calling. As the game continues, the jackpot grows until there is a winner. At the end of the game, there is a special satellite game. One version of this satellite game requires players to cover every number on their card in under 50 numbers. The person to do so wins the big jackpot!
Satellite bingo is a way for bingo players to play with people from around the country and compete to win a larger pot! Have you ever played satellite bingo?

That’s a lot of bingo!
What’s the biggest game of bingo you participated in? Was it at a bingo hall? Was it for charity? Were you playing online? Well, the Guinness World Record for the largest game of bingo took place in Bogotá, Colombia in December of 2006. 70,080 people participated in that game of bingo!
The biggest game of online bingo included even more people! In September of 2010, 493,824 members of Coca-Cola Park played a game of online bingo! This game was organized in Tokyo, Japan.
